JUDGMENT / ORDER

Notice on behalf of opposite parties has been accepted by the learned Chief Standing Counsel.
By means of the instant writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the order dated 14.12.2012 passed by Additional District Magistrate (F&R), the opposite party no. 3 by which a deficiency of stamp duty amounting to Rs.2,12,050/- and a fine of Rs.50,000/- has been imposed upon the petitioner. The petitioner is also challenging the appellate order dated 27.01.2014 passed by opposite party no.2.
The operation and implementation of the impugned orders dated 14.12.2012 passed by opposite party no.3 and the appellate order dated 27.01.2014, passed by opposite party no. 2 and contained as Annexure Nos. 2 and 1 respectively to the writ petition, shall remain stayed subject to deposit of 50% of the total deficiency plus fine amount, minus the amount deposited at appellate stage, if any, within a period of one month before the authority concerned.
Learned standing counsel prays for and is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit. Rejoinder affidavit, if any, may be filed by the petitioner within a period of one week's thereafter.
List after expiry of the aforesaid period.
