The petition has been filed in the name of Smt. Ramwati Devi. The grievance is that the third respondent who is a Sub-Registrar, Tehsil Gabhana District Aligarh has not registered a power of attorney which she intends to execute in favour of one Faisal Khurshid in respect of her land. The affidavit in support of the petition has been filed by Faisal Khurshid and not by the petitioner. The basis on which the affidavit has been filed by this person is not disclosed.
In view of this position, we are not inclined to entertain this petition. On the request of learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, we dismiss the petition as withdrawn.
