JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and Sri Dipak Seth, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 6.
No notice need be issued to the respondent no. 7 taking into consideration the nature of order proposed to be passed.
With the consent of learned counsel appearing for the contesting parties, the instant writ petition is being finally decided at the admission stage.
By means of the present petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties no. 1 and 2 to take coercive action in the matter in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh Casses (Submission, Disposal and Avoidance of Delay) Rules, 1995 and Government order dated 30.09.2009 and ensure payment of all death-cum-retiral benefits including Family Pension, Gratuity, GPF, Leave Encashment etc. of Late Devendra Pal Singh to the petitioner no. 1 as per the nomination in the service book and registered WILL dated 09.09.2020 within the time bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the opposite party no. 1 to 3 to make the payment towards the reimbursement of the Medical Bills submitted by Late Devendra Pal Singh as contained in Annexure nos. 5 this writ petition along with interest @ 18 % per annum from due date till the date actual payment is made to the petitioners within the time bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
(iii) Pass any other suitable order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit, just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.
(iv) Allow the writ petition with costs."
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that with regard to the relief sought in the writ petition, the petitioners may be permitted to submit a representation before the respondent No.2, i.e The Director General of Police, U.P, Police Headquarter, Lucknow which may be directed to be decided within a fixed time frame to which learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has no objection.
In view of the above, it is provided that in case the petitioners submit a representation within two weeks from today before the respondent No.2 then the respondent No.2 shall endevour to decide the same by means of a reasoned and speaking order within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with representation.
With the aforesaid direction, writ petition is disposed of.
It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.
