Smt. Monica Singh and Dr. Satendra Chaudhary appeared in person along with their counsel.Both have agreed to settled their dispute amicably. Smt. Monica Singh submitted that in case if the respondent pays a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (rupees ten lacs) towards permanent alimony to her and also pays a sum of Rs. Rs.10,00,000/- (rupees ten lac) to her daughter, Km. Harshita Singh Chaudhary, she will not press the present appeal and will also withdraw all the criminal and civil cases arising from the matrimonial disputes where-ever those cases are pending. Dr. Satendra Chaudhary agreed to pay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (rupees ten lacs) to Smt. Monica Singh towards permanent alimony and Rs.10,00,000/- (rupees ten lac) to Km. Harshita Singh Chaudhary. Sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (rupees ten lac), which will be paid to Km. Harshita Singh Chaudhary, shall be kept in a fixed deposit scheme in a nationalized bank, for a fixed period, yielding maximum interest and the same shall only be utilized in her marriage. A sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (rupees ten lac) shall be paid to Smt. Monica Singh by way of Bank Draft.
Both the parties are directed to file a joint affidavit or a separate affidavit in respect of the compromise arrived at between them, stating therein the terms and conditions of the settlement. Dr. Satendra Singh states that he may be allowed two month's time to pay the aforesaid amount.
