JUDGMENT / ORDER

Sri Awadhesh Rai, Advocate filed Parcha on behalf of respondent no. 1. The same may be placed on record.
Connect it with Writ Petition Nos. 5222 of 2010 and 11123 of 2010.
The validity of Section 2 (14-A) of the Indian Stamp Act has been challenged. The notice on behalf of Advocate General has been received by the learned Standing Counsel.
All the respondents may file counter affidavit within a period of four weeks. Rejoinder affidavit may be filed within two weeks.
List thereafter.
Till the next date of listing, the realization of the demand shall remain stayed provided the petitioner deposits 50% of deficient stamp duty within 30 days and furnishes security of the balance amount in the form other than cash or bank guarantee to the satisfaction of Assistant Commissioner (Stamp), Saharanpur.
