JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Ajai Kumar Srivastava-I,J.
The result of election in dispute has already been declared.
The prayer for recounting in exercise of writ jurisdiction may not be maintainable for the reason that such a relief can only be granted in an election petition.
petitioner for the relief prayed for in the present writ petition has a remedy under Section 12-C of U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947.
In the circumstances of the case, we decline to entertain the writ petition on the ground of alternative remedy.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
