On an earlier occasion, when the matter was taken up for hearing on 01.06.2016, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In the meanwhile, at the request of the petitioner, on 05.12.2016, the matter was adjourned for a week. Subsequently, when the matter was taken up for hearing on 23.12.2016, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption for dismissal on 05.01.2017. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, again, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
2. In view of the above, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
