The husband has filed O.P. No. 812/2013 on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvalla for divorce. The wife has filed O.P. No. 1131/2013 on the file of the Family Court, Thrissur for return of gold ornaments. Both the husband and wife are working abroad and they have no children in the wedlock.
2. The wife seeks a transfer of O.P. No. 812/2013 from the Family Court, Thiruvalla to the Family Court, Thrissur. It will be difficult for the husband or his power of attorney holder to travel all the way from Thiruvalla to Thrissur for the conduct of the case. Ernakulam is midway between Thiruvalla and Thrissur and has better connectivity.
3. A transfer of both the cases to the Family Court, Ernakulam will mitigate the hardship of both. I therefore order transfer of O.P. No. 812/2013 from the Family Court, Thiruvalla to Family Court, Ernakulam. The husband can also apply for 2 Tr.P(C) No. 601/2013 transfer of O.P. No. 1131/2013 from the Family Court, Thrissur to the Family Court, Ernakulam.
The Transfer Petition is disposed of.
