The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to dispose of Ext.P5 application for assignment which is now pending before the second respondent.
2. The petitioner alleges that her father had purchased an old Wire Cut Bricks Company with 2 acre 41 cents of land in the name of his three daughters, in the year 1999. Thereafter, the petitioner became the absolute owner of the said property and she had effected improvements in it. Her case is that on an earlier date her father gave application for assignment for the excess land on the registry. However, she was given to understand that the said application was lost from the office of the Village Officer. Therefore, she submitted Ext.P5 application which is now pending before the second respondent.
WP(C).23278/13 -:2:-
As the limited prayer of the petitioner is only for a disposal of Ext.P5, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to dispose of Ext.P5 application, pending before them, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard. This shall be done within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
