JUDGMENT / ORDER

Alleging that the respondents failed to recommend the name of the petitioner for getting admission to Junior Diploma in Commerce Course, the petitioner has approached this Court.
2. The petitioner alleges that she entered the service of the first respondent on 21.9.2006 along with four other attenders and she is the fourth person in the seniority list among the attenders. According to her, she is the next candidate eligible for getting admission to the course. Her case is that she filed an application for getting her name recommended, which was rejected by Ext.P7. Hence, she has approached this Court with the present writ petition for setting aside Ext.P7.
3. This Court by interim order dated 13.04.2012 directed the first respondent to recommend the name of the petitioner for WP(C).8735/12 -:2:-
admission to the Junior Diploma Course in Co-operation for the year 2012-2013. The fourth respondent was also directed to consider the application of the petitioner on merits and give her admission, if she is eligible as per the guidelines.
4. Since the very purpose sought to be achieved by filing this writ petitioner has been served, this Court finds that there is no need to proceed with this writ petition further. Therefore, the Writ Petition is closed making it clear that petitioner shall be entitled to the benefit of the interim order already passed.
