JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Contempt Petition has been filed praying to punish the contemnor since he failed to obey the order passed in W.P(MD)No.12558 of 2014 dated 01.09.2015 by this Court.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has represented that as per representation given by the petitioner the respondent has taken appropriate action against the person concerned. Likewise, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has also represented to the effect that on the basis of representation given by the petitioner, the respondent/contemnor has initiated a proceeding under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994.
3.Considering the fact that in pursuance of the order passed by this Court and also on the basis of representation given by the petitioner, appropriate action has been taken by the respondent/ contemnor, this contempt petition is totally unwarranted and therefore this contempt petition deserves to be dismissed.
4.In fine, this contempt petition is dismissed. No costs.
