JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2017, to transfer the patta in his name, in respect of land in Survey No.1550/1, situated at Enjor Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District.
2. Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.
3. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself.
4. The case of the petitioner is that pursuant to the sale deeds dated 13.05.2016 and 19.05.2016, effected by one Sivamuthu, registered in Document Nos.3316 of 2016 and 3259 of 2016, in favour of the petitioner, he sent a representation dated 03.04.2017, to the respondent for transfer of patta in respect of the property mentioned in the sale deeds. As the same was not considered by the respondent till date, the petitioner is before this Court, with the aforesaid prayer.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2017, seeking transfer of patta in his name, in respect of land in Survey No.1550/1, situated at Enjor Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
