JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he had approached the second respondent on 29.06.2012 for issuance of patta in his name and has submitted a representation dated 02.03.2015 to the first respondent for levying property tax in respect of his property. Since the said representations have not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.
4. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matters, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2015 and pass suitable orders regarding assessment of property tax, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any.
5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
