JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The learned Additional Government Pleader states that notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (hereinafter referred to the said Act) was issued preceding notice under Section 6 of the said Act. But that did not pertain to the survey number of the petitioner.
2. The aforesaid being the position, no action can be taken in respect of the land of the petitioner, unless first notice is issued under Section 7 of the said Act.
3. The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid terms. No costs.
