JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members, under the guise of enquiry.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the State.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner and his family members and harassed him under the guise of enquiry with regards to a civil dispute.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that with regard to a complaint pending against the petitioner, petition enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed on 12.12.2016, based on the undertaking given by the second respondent/defacto complainant that they will settle their dispute before the Civil Court. Thereafter, the petitioner's appearance is not at all required by the respondent Police. Hence, there is no scope of harassment as alleged by the petitioner.
5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), there is no scope for harassment. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
