The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for issuance of a direction upon the second respondent to consider and decide his representation. It appears from the pleadings of the writ petition that there is matrimonial dispute between daughter of the petitioner and her in-laws. The grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent is not taking any action despite applications moved before him.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner has alternative efficacious remedy under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C.. Having due regard to the said fact, we decline to interfere under Article 226 of the Constitution, leaving it open to the petitioner to take recourse to appropriate remedy available to him under the law.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
