The petitioner is faced with a demand from the Nagar Nigam towards house tax. He states that he has taken recourse to the remedy available under the law and has filed objections on two dates. The last objection was filed on 12th March, 2018. The objection has not been decided as yet but yet again another demand has been raised, which is impugned in the present writ petition.
Sri S.P. Rai, learned Counsel for the Nagar Nigam, Allahabad is present. The Nagar Nigam will decide the objections of the petitioners within a period of one month from today after giving to the petitioner a proper opportunity of hearing.
Till 22.02.2019 no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioners. The matter shall be decided by then.
The Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
