Heard Sri Nanhe Lal Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Vikram Bahadur Yadav, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioners, my means of this writ petition, are claiming promotion from the post of Jail Warder to Jail Head Warder. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that their promotion was kept in sealed cover by order dated 28.7.2017 on the ground that confidential report has not been received by the department at the time of consideration of the petitioners' promotion. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that now the confidential report has been received yet the claim of the petitioners for promotion have not been considered so far.
Learned Standing Counsel was directed to seek instruction in the matter but unfortunately no instruction has been received so far.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no.2 to consider the claim of the petitioners and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order before it.
