JUDGMENT / ORDER

Manjula Chellur, C.J.
Petitioner is before this Court claiming to be Chairman and Director of Council for Civil Rights Protections and Law Research Study Centre of India. They claim to work for welfare of the people and to give education to persons about their fundamental rights, human rights and other related laws. They also claim to give legal aid to those persons who are not able to approach the court for enforcement of their fundamental and human rights. Respondents 6 and 7 are trying not only to interfere with the activities of the petitioner's organisation, but they are threatening with dire consequence if it continues with the activities. Therefore, petitioner is before this court seeking police protection.
WP(C).12337/14 2
2. According to party respondents' counsel, under the guise of running an organisation, petitioner is collecting money from poor people promising to do great things and except questioning this, respondents 6 and 7 never interfered in the functioning of the organisation. Learned Government Pleader submits, 6th respondent is conducting some chitty transaction and some complaints were received in this regard.
3. From the above submission what we could gather is there seems to be some personal rivalry between petitioner and 6th respondent either with regard to the activities of the organisation or the chitty transaction of 6th respondent. If activities of the organisation are interfered with, petitioner should know where his right has to be protected and not in this petition. However, if there is threat to his life, it is always open to the petitioner to lodge a complaint before police and the respondent police shall do the needful in accordance with the procedure contemplated. Similarly, respondents 6 and 7, if intend to take action against any WP(C).12337/14 3 illegal activities of the petitioner as apprehended by them, they are at liberty to approach concerned authorities bringing to their notice such activities. Under the guise of objecting each other's activities, if any offence is done, respondent police shall take action in accordance with the procedure contemplated.
With the above observation, the Writ Petition is closed.
