JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent, have filed a joint memo of compromise dated 08.02.2017, duly signed by the first petitioner (on behalf of all the petitioners) and the second respondent, and the respective counsel, in which it is stated that the matter has been settled between them and both the parties will not have any further claims whatsoever against each other. It is also stated in the joint memo of compromise that the second respondent has no objection in quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.53 of 2013 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-II, Kancheepuram, against the petitioners.
2. Both the parties are present and they accepted the contents in the joint memo of compromise as true.
3. The joint memo of compromise is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the joint memo of compromise, the proceedings in C.C.No.53 of 2013 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-II, Kancheepuram, against the petitioners, is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in terms of the joint memo of compromise.
