This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.(Divorce) No.325/2014 pending before the Family Court, Ottappalam transferred to Family Court, Palakkad to try along with M.C.No.105/2013 pending before the latter court. 2. The marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became quite unpleasant and that gave rise to litigations between them. The respondent initiated O.P.(Divorce) No.325/2014 for divorce which is pending before the Family Court, Ottappalam. The petitioner has filed maintenance petition as M.C.No.105/2013 which is pending before the Family Court, Palakkad.
3. The petitioner points out that it is difficult for her to travel to Ottappalam on every posting dates of the case and she prays that the matter pending before the Family Court,

Ottappalam may be transferred to Family Court, Palakkad so as to enable her to attend the case regularly.
4. The respondent opposed the petition and points out that he has to travel more than 70 kilometer to attend the case.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is residing at Palakkad, it is only appropriate that the petition pending before the Family Court, Ottappalam be transferred to Family Court, Palakkad.
In the result, this petition is allowed and O.P.(Divorce) No.325/2014 pending before the Family Court, Ottappalam shall stand transferred to Family Court, Palakkad.
