Heard learned counsel for the defendants-petitioners.
The petitioners are before this Court assailing the order dated 26.5.2016 passed by the Additional District Judge, Court No.4, Maharajganj and the order dated 17.2.2011 passed by the Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Maharajganj and for direction to the respondents not to interfere in the suit property.
As per report of the Stamp Reporter dated 10.8.2018, this writ petition has been filed beyond period of two years and 106 days after lapse of period of limitation. Learned counsel for the petitioners has requested for condonation of this delay.
The petitioners have not sufficiently explained the delay in filing the writ petition and therefore, the request for condonation of delay is declined.
Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed on the ground of delay and laches.
