THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri. S. B. Halli, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri. Y. D. Harsha, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 and 2.
In this petition, petitioner inter alia seeks for a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to return the original documents of the petitioner.
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has already filed a representation before the competent authority of respondent No.2. However, no action on the representation has been taken.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, petition is disposed of with a direction that in case such a representation is still pending, suitable action to deal with the same shall be taken in accordance with law by the competent authority within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today.
4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
With the aforesaid direction, writ petition is disposed of.
