The petitioners were transferred from Civil Police to Government Railway Police in 2008. This petition seeks a direction upon the respondents to transfer the petitioner back to Civil Police in accordance with the Notification dated 30th May, 2008 since they have completed more than three years.
It is for the petitioners to point out this fact to the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Establishment) Allahabad and in case such a representation is filed, the same shall be examined and an appropriate order shall be passed expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of the representation alongwith a certified copy of this order.
The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated upon the merits of the case, which shall be considered by the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Establishment) Allahabad in accordance with law.
