The Writ Petitioner's father has approached this Court in W.P(C).No.22009 of 2013 on account of refusal to register the document for want of ROR. This Court directed the respondents to register the document without insisting for ROR on being satisfied with the other conditions for registration. However, revenue officials refused to effect mutation based on the document registered pursuant to the direction of this Court.
2. In the facts and circumstances, necessarily revenue officials are bound to accept document for the purpose of effecting transfer of registry. There shall be a direction to the first respondent to effect transfer of registry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of judgment.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
