This writ petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents to take immediate steps to resume/complete the work of Charuvila Chirakkonath pathway in Ward No.1 of Poruvazhy Grama Panchayat, undertaken under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. 2. When this matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner brought to my notice a communication issued by the Joint Development Commissioner and Joint Programme Co-ordinator of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) to the sixth respondent Panchayat directing that the said work shall be completed, by including the same in the additional action plan of the scheme for the year 2014-2015. The said communication was produced along with I.A. No.15566 of 2014.
3. In the light of the communication produced along with I.A. No.15566 of 2014, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondents 4 to 6 to comply with the direction issued by the Joint Programme Co-ordinator of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, at any rate, before the culmination W.P.(C).No.3302 of 2014 2 of the financial year 2014-2015.
