Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
Learned Standing Counsel representing the respondent Nos 1 to 4 states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being kept open, the claim of the petitioner for regularisation in terms of Section 33-C of the 1982 Act shall be duly placed before the competent Committee and a final decision taken with expedition and preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a duly authenticated copy of this order. He further states that the said Committee shall proceed in the matter with due notice to respondent No. 5 and other concerned parties.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
