1. Under order dated 3rd August 2012, time was granted to the respondents to file reply affidavit. It was clarified in the order that:
"Therefore, as a last chance, time until 20.08.2012 is granted to the respondents to file reply affidavit. If reply affidavit is not filed within the aforesaid time limit, then, appropriate orders in absence of reply affidavit may be passed, including order imposing costs."
2. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Advocate for petitioner has submitted that Union of India i.e. respondent no.1 has not filed any reply in any petition. However, the respondent no.2 has filed reply affidavit in three petitions and in other two petitions the reply is awaited.
3. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner also submitted that the reply affidavits in three petitions are received yesterday and the petitioner needs time to examine the details mentioned in the affidavits, and if need be, to file rejoinder affidavit. Some time is, therefore, requested for.
4. The respondent No.2 shall file affidavits in other two petitions on or before 28th August 2012. S.O. to 30th August 2012.
5. If the reply by respondent No.1 has not been filed on or before the next date, the matter may be considered in light of the reply affidavits by respondent No.2.
