Heard Shri Awadh Narain Rai, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Shyam Mani Shukla, learned counsel for the respondent no.4 and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents no.1 to 3.
The petitioner is seeking payment of Leave Encashment, Provident Fund, Group Insurance, Gratuity and monthly pension etc. In respect of his claim the petitioner is stated to have preferred a representation before the Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, District Bulandshahar through registered post dated 12.04.2018, copy of which has been filed as Annexure-2 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties with a direction to the respondent no.4, Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, District Bulandshahar to take a decision in the matter in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is received in his office.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
