Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
The petitioner is aggrieved as he has filed a revision against the order refusing to accept the single bid of the petitioner for grant of a fisheries lease. It is submitted that during the pendency of the revision aforesaid a fresh auction notice has been issued. He has, therefore, prays that the auction notice be stayed till the time the revision is decided finally.
The revision filed by the petitioner is already pending therein an application for stay has been filed, on 06.11.2019 and since the next date fixed in the revision is 23.01.2020, no auction date is as yet fixed, because it is stated that auction fixed on 14.12.2019 but could not take place and a fresh date has not yet been notified.
Under the circumstances, the petitioner may approach the Commissioner along with the certified copy of this order. The Commissioner is directed to prepone the date fixed in the revision and to hear the application for stay, filed by the petitioner and dispose of the same by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 2 weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
It is made clear that this Court has not examined the merits of the petitioner's claim nor has expressed any opinion thereon.
