Learned advocate for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition at this stage and prays that let there be direction to the Revisional Authority for deciding the revision application dated 24.01.2011 as soon as possible. Learned AGP, appearing on advance copy, could not resist this request as, such a reasonable request can never be resisted.
Permission, as sought for, is granted. The matter is dismissed as withdrawn. The Revisional Authority is under obligation to decide the revision application as expeditiously as possible preferably within 30 days from the date of receipt of writ of this order. In case if it is not decided, then the revisional authority shall specifically mention in the order the reason for not deciding the same. Direct service is permitted.
