Heard learned counsel for parties and perused the record.
By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the impugned transfer order dated 30.6.2008 as well as relieving order dated 13.6.2010 by which he was transferred from Civil Police to G.R. P. Police.
There appears to be no justification to enforce the order after lapse of almost two years. The transfer orders are passed to meet out the exigencies of service in pursuance of the decision taken at a particular time. There appears no good reason to enforce the transfer order after lapse of two years.
Writ Petition is, therefore, allowed. The impugned transfer order dated 30.6.2008 , so far as it relates to petitioner , are hereby quashed. However, opposite parties are at liberty to pass afresh order to meet out the exigencies of service, if necessary.
