Petitioner has filed a statutory revision under rule 23 of the U.P. Police Officers of the Subordinate Ranks (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1991, challenging the orders dated 29.4.2017 and 30.8.2017, which is pending before the revisional authority. Prayer made in this petition is to direct the authority concerned to dispose of the revision, at the earliest.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the revision filed by the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law.
Considering the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the authority concerned to dispose of pending statutory revision, in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
