1. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is permitted to add prayer no.(iv) in the prayer clause of the writ petition, during course of the day.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
3. The instant writ petition has been filed with the following prayers.
i). Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.3 not to interfere in cultivating and performing the other agricultural activities of the petitioner over the land in dispute.
ii). Issue any other suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case.
iii). Award the cost of the petition to the petitioner.
iv). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 07.12.2020 of the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner confined his prayer that prayer no. (iv), made in the writ petition may be directed to be decided.
5. Learned State Counsel has no objection to the aforesaid prayer.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the respondent no.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hamirpur, shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2020, with a reasoned and speaking order, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date a computer generated copy of this order alongwith representation dated 07.12.2020 is produced before him.
7. While passing the above order the court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
