Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and Sri Kuldeep Singh Chauhan, learned counsel for the Nagam Nigam and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer that the Court below i.e. Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Court No. 8 Meerut be directed to expedite the hearing and decide the case Original Suit No. 742 of 2015 (Smt. Sushila Devi vs. State of UP and another) within a time bound period.
Admittedly, the suit is of the year 2015. As such, I am not inclined to issue any direction as has been prayed for.
However, considering the age of petitioner-plaintiff, the present petition is finally disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move appropriate application before the Court below for expeditious disposal of the suit, which shall be considered and decided sympathetically taking into consideration the roster of the court.
With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the present petition is finally disposed of.
