Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Vikram Bahadur Yadav learned Standing Counsel.
The relief claimed in this petition reads thus:
"(i) issue an appropriate order or direction quashing the order dated 17.3.2017 passed by the Superintendent of Police Hathras whereby the inquiry proceedings against the respondent No.5 has been dropped.
(ii) Issue an appropriate order or direction quashing the inquiry report dated 22.2.2017 submitted by the prescribed officer/circle officer Sadabad Hathras.
(iii) issue any other and further appropriate order or direction Commanding the respondent concerned to conduct an inquiry against the respondent No.5 and to direct to pay extent financial support to the petitioner and in pursuance of the provisions contained in Uttar Pradesh recruitment of dependents of Government of U.P.(Dying in harness Rule 1974)."
The petition who is the father-in-law of the fifth respondent has assailed the dropping of enquiry proceedings against her. The Court finds no locus inhering in the petitioner to institute these proceedings.
The writ petition is dismissed.
