The order of the Apex Court dated 6.7.2011 is to the effect that High Court was to dispose of the writ petition expeditiously. This order was made in Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No. 15308 of 2011. Accordingly, the matter was listed at the top of the Board. When it was called out, learned advocates for both the sides i.e. for the petitioner and respondent, requested for adjourning the matter to 30.01.2012. When the High Court is to dispose of the writ petition as per the observation of the Apex Court expeditiously and when the parties themselves have been seeking time, the court is left with no choice but to grant time. Accordingly, S.O to 30.01.2012.
