JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 34
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 40498 of 2002 Petitioner :- Shree Krishna Respondent :- Chief General Manager State Bank Of India And Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Bhanu Bhushan Jauhari Counsel for Respondent :- Satish Chaturvedi
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J.
1. Called in revise. None appeared to press this writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel and Sri Satish Chaturvedi, Advocate are present for respondents. In the circumstances, I myself have perused the record.
2. By means of present writ petition, petitioner has sought following reliefs:
"(i) to issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to make payment of pension, arrears of pension and the amount of provident fund which was deducted from the salary of the petitioner while petitioner was serving in the K.N.S.B. Ltd. within the time fixed by this Hon'ble court and the respondents be further directed to make the payment of interest @ 12 % per anum over the said amount from the date of retirement.
(ii) to issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to make payment of arrears of salary as per the VI bipartite settlement.
(iii) to issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to make payment of amount of group insurance and its interest over the amount which has been deposited by the petitioner as L.I.C. premium at the time when he was serving in the Bank."
3. I myself have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or the petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
