Heard learned counsel for the applicant, Sri Ashutosh Pandey, the learned Brief Holder on behalf of the State and perused the record.
The present application for grant of anticipatory bail has been filed by the applicant in case crime No.113 of 2018, under Sections 420, 409, 120-B I.P.C., Police Station Kwarsi, District- Aligarh.
The Court finds itself unable to countenance the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant bearing in mind the fact that a public financial institution is stated to have been defrauded to the extent of Rs.1,40,00,000/-. In crimes of this character, the application for grant of anticipatory bail is clearly misconceived more so when the applicant's complicity has come to fore on the basis of the statement of the co-accused.
Consequently, the application is rejected.
