This petition has been filed in Public Interest Litigation seeking the following relief:-
"issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding/directing the respondent no. 3- Tehsildar, Tehsil-Sadar, District- Mau to decide the Case No. 01421 of 2018 and computerized Case No. T20181551010421 (Report Vs. Dashrath) under Section 67 U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 Village- Padmidad, Tehsil-Sadar, District-Mau."
It has been stated that the proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code 2006 have been initiated against the opposite party and on several occasions time to file an objection has been given by the court concerned but no objection has been filed only with the purpose of delaying the disposal of the proceedings.
Under the circumstances, this petition is disposed of with a directing the respondent no. 3 to decide the proceedings under Section 67 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties thereto.
