The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief :
"(A) Issue a writ order, or directions in the nature of mandamus to decide the revision no.7, under Section 48(1) (Shravan Kumar vs. State of U.P.), pending before Deputy Director of Consolidation, Ghaziabad (respondent no.1) expeditiously preferably within time limits which this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper in circumstances of the case."
The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the court concerned may endeavour to decide the matter as expeditiously as possible, keeping in mind the pendency of old cases before it.
