JUDGMENT / ORDER

Application filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
2. The petitioners are the accused Nos. 1 to 5 in C.C No.893 of 2013 pending before the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court-III, Neyyattinkara registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 341, 447, 323 and 324 r/w Section 149 of the Indian Penal code. The petitioners have come up under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with a prayer to get Annexure-I F.I.R, Annexure-II final report in the crime and all further proceedings in C.C No.893 of 2013 pending before the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court-III, Neyyattinkara, quashed.
3. Heard the counsel for the petitioners and learned Public Prosecutor.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has made an attempt to take this court through the evidence in the matter by inviting the attention of this court to the First Information Crl.M.C.No.6599 of 2014 2 Statement and the Statements of Witnesses. This court is not expressing any opinion with regard to the merits or otherwise of the case. At the same time this court is satisfied that presently there are no materials enabling this court to quash the crime, the final report and the proceeding in the criminal case based on it.
5. The matters pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioners are matters concerning the merits of the case which can only be considered during trial.
In the result, this Crl.M.C. stands dismissed.
