Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.1, Sri Devendra Kumar, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2 and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents.
The petitioners' land is stated to have been acquired for the National Highways Authority of India by the Special Land Acquisition Officer and an award has been made on 20.1.2016. The petitioners are not satisfied with the award.
That being the case, the petitioners can approach the competent authority under Section 3-G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956. In a writ proceeding no interference is called for.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
