O R D E R Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/accused and the learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for the respondent-State.
2. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 25.7.2017 in Cr.No.151/2017 registered by the respondent- police in respect of the offences under sections 3, 4, 5, 7 of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act and under Section 370 of IPC.
3. The allegation is, the accused (A-1) named in the FIR was running a brothel at his residence. The Investigating Officer raided the spot, rescued the victim and arrested the accused. On his voluntary statement, this petitioner was implicated as A-2. The allegation is she was assisting A-1.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner was not at the spot when the place of occurrence was raided. For the reasons best known to the Investigating Officer, she is implicated. She is not required for custodial interrogation. She undertakes to abide by any condition that may be imposed on her.
Having regard to the above facts and circumstances, the petition is allowed. The petitioner is enlarged on bail in Cr.No.151/2017 registered by the respondent-police on executing a self bond for Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the likesum to the satisfaction of the concerned Court. She shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer during further course of investigation.
