1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and perused the record.
2. By means of present writ petition petitioner has sought security by submitting an application dated 17th January, 2018, to Inspector General of Police, Meerut Zone, Meerut and Senior Superintendent of Police, Meerut on the ground that two of his relatives have been murdered and there is serious threat to his life and liberty. It is also stated that no action has been taken by the authorities concerned on the application of petitioner.
3. Let final decision be taken on application of petitioner by competent authority within two months' from today.
4. With aforesaid direction, writ petition stands disposed of.
