The petitioner is a holder of quarrying permit. Ext.P2 is the original permit. He applied for renewal. When the writ petition came up for consideration on 10/12/2014, in fact, there was a doubt as to whether the petitioner's property forms part of the road purambokde. 2. Today, the learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the property of the petitioner is purayidam and it does not form part of the road puramboke. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the first respondent- Geologist to take steps for renewal of the petitioner's permit and take appropriate decision within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Needful shall be done without insisting for fresh No Objection Certificate and Environmental Clearance. However, renewal shall be granted only for the area for which the original permit-Ext.P2 is W.P.(C) No.32795/2014 .2.
