Following orders were passed in the matter on 18.7.2019:-
"Petitioner has superannuated from the post of Assistant Commissioner, Industries, on 31.10.2018. His grievance is that though a period of nearly ten months has expired, but none of petitioner's retiral dues have been released.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions in the matter, by the next date fixed.
Put up as fresh on 25.7.2019."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions in the matter, according to which certain short comings existed on account of which petitioner's claim has not been processed earlier. It is stated that certain reports were awaited and the same has been received on 30.6.2019.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner’s claim shall be processed by the authority concerned, in accordance with law.
Considering the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent-authority concerned to ensure release of all withheld retiral benefits to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. The petitioner's claim for release of withheld five months salary shall also be processed within this period.
