Heard Sri Preet Pal Singh Rathore, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ravindra Singh for respondent nos.3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 and standing counsel for respondent nos.1, 2 and 4.
Contention of the petitioner is that he is a Class-IV employee and by punishment order dated 13.6.2018 he was awarded minor punishment against which he filed an appeal on 13.7.2018 before respondent no.3, which is still pending consideration.
Sole grievance of the petitioner is that respondent no.3 be directed to decide his appeal.
In view of the above, respondent no.3 is directed to decide the appeal of the petitioner on merits by a reasoned and speaking order expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
