Heard Sri Ashutosh Tiwari, learned counsel for the revisionist and Sri G.P. Singh, learned AGA for the State.
The present criminal revision has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 21.05.2019 passed by First Additional Sessions Judge, Chandauli in Case No.35 of 2019 (Shivmurat Sharma vs. State and others) under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 so far as the amount of 20 per cent of compensation is concerned.
Learned counsel for the revisionist states that lower appellate court while granting bail to the revisionist has imposed certain conditions and the revisionist has been directed to deposit 20 per cent of the total amount by cheque within 15 days. It has been further submitted that the said time is lapsed for which he prays for more time to deposit the same in compliance of the order dated 21.05.2019.
As prayed, revisionist is allowed two weeks further time to deposit the amount as held by the lower appellate court.
With the aforesaid observations, the revision stands disposed of.
