Heard learned counsel for the parties.
It is urged that the petitioner was working as Sub-inspector, he came to be promoted on the post of Inspector vide order dated 5 June 2018.
By the instant petition, petitioner is seeking the following relief:
"(a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to allow the petitioner for resuming his duties on the the promotional post i.e. inspector in pursuance of the Govt. order dated 28.05.1997."
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the third respondent shall pass appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.
In regard thereto, without entering into the merit of the case, as well as, rival contentions raised by the respective parties, it is provided that the third respondent, Superintendent of Police, District Deoria, shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner, by a reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably, within three months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order along with the copy of the writ petition.
With the aforementioned observations/directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
